WHILE AWAY EXHIBITION, May 2023. Featuring Victoria Drakeford, Darcy Johnson and Judith Tye’s special projects. Each artist showed a specific series or collection of related works.

Judith’s is called ‘365’ because she did a number of small paintings on the same theme everyday for a year. She then cut them all out and collaged each series of paintings into larger works.

Victoria sketched outdoors everyday for 100 days. Her drawings go from the Vancouver Island forests to rural Devon in England and back again.

Darcy’s ‘Visage” series of unique and varied faces drawn and painted over the last 15 years have never been shown before.
